During the early planning of Jurassic World Gateway Airport, Masrani Global survey teams uncovered a massive underground cavern beneath the construction site. Inside it, they found a hidden graveyard filled with fossilized remains of many prehistoric species. Instead of abandoning the location, Masrani scientists chose to preserve the cavern exactly as it was and build the airport above it. Only a small group of researchers know the full size of the cavern, quietly referring to it as The Hollow. Most guests arriving at the airport never realize that far below them lies an untouched monument to creatures that lived millions of years before Jurassic World existed. For Masrani Global, Gateway Airport became more than an arrival point. It became a symbol of the connection between the ancient world and the future they were creating.
