Park Managers’ Toolbox – Park Challenges

Park Managers’ Toolbox – Park Challenges

Welcome Park Managers,

Whether you’re a Park Manager who likes to focus on the small details or organise the automation of each task, to keep your parks running smoothly you’ll have to keep your eye on your dinosaurs, guests, staff and more!

We’ve put together four park challenges for you to take on, including scenery pieces, buildings and dinosaur requirements. We can’t wait to see if you’re up to the task!

The Generation Game

The main aim of this challenge is to keep a long lineage of dinosaurs alive for at least 5 generations or more.

Natural deaths from old age won’t count as a failure, but if your dinosaurs die due to disease or a rogue T. rex attack, try again and refocus your efforts with better DNA research.

Scenery & Buildings

Your park will need to stand the test of time to support many dinosaurs, so build infrastructure like medical facilities and science centres. Decorate with scenery pieces that hint at the generations of prehistoric species you’ve helped thrive.

  • Dinosaur skeleton statues
  • Dinosaur egg shell props
  • Paleo-Medical Facility
  • Science Centre
  • Hatcheries
  • Staff Centre
  • Expedition Centre

Dinosaurs

Give yourself the best chance at breeding and select dinosaurs with larger egg clutches like:

Days Without Incident

This challenge is all about keeping things calm while creating a park filled with all the most aggressive dinosaurs. Make the most secure, safe and profitable park you can with plenty of security, amenities and attractions for your guests.

How many days can you make it without an incident?

Scenery & Buildings

Is your park recovering its reputation or is it a brand-new park just about to open? Decals and construction prop pieces will add the sense that you’ve only just finished re-building.

Don’t forget to keep ‘Collision On’ for scenery pieces so you can separate dinosaurs and guests from each other. Make sure your staff can still access and care for the dinosaurs though; unhappy dinosaurs are more prone to escapes!

  • Damage and grunge decals
  • Signs decals – Warnings
  • Rusty metal gantries
  • Corrugated, metal & wire fence
  • Construction props
  • Maintenance Post
  • Security Camera
  • Response Facility
  • Emergency Shelter

Dinosaurs

Players who want to challenge themselves should pick dinosaurs likely to break out and... chase after guests, like:

Mother Nature

Let the dinosaurs take control and see how it plays out with a natural, free-roaming park.

Step in only when necessary, leaving your dinosaurs to exist as they would have millions of years ago with naturalistic enclosures. It’s survival of the fittest so avoid making use of the Paleo-medical team and Response teams!

Scenery & Buildings

Build your park with natural habitats in mind!

You’ll still need your park to make money, so hide guests from dinosaurs with camouflaged viewing galleries or balloon tours.

  • Dynamic foliage
  • Rocks – Rock Piles from Blueprints are great for quick building!
  • Wood fences – These will blend in more with natural foliage.
  • Log Viewing Gallery
  • Dome Viewing Gallery
  • Visitor Centre
  • Balloon Tour

Dinosaurs

Depending on how you want your natural park to pan out, choosing dinosaurs that co-habit together well (or not) is up to you, such as:

For more chaos, mix carnivores that eat live prey with your herbivores, like:

Dodgy Deals

Purchase your dinosaurs from the marketplace from sellers with the lowest reputation, making sure your park work and run smoothly regardless of what arrives in your loading dock.

Scenery & Buildings

Your park will need to prepare for whatever arrives next so streamline your delivery area and pre-prepare secure enclosures to move your brand-new dinosaurs into.

It’ll also be important to make sure your Maintenance ATV Team is always on hand for when things don’t quite go to plan.

  • Utility Dressing Blueprints, such as the containers
  • Fences
  • Aerials
  • Cages
  • Facility props
  • Delivery Zone
  • Marketplace Facility
  • Response Facility
  • Maintenance Facility & Posts

Dinosaurs

Get your park started with some classic dinosaurs to boost the starting funds for your park, like:

Then, only fill out your park’s roster with species from the Marketplace Facility, purchasing from the lowest rated sellers. Any good Park Manager can handle a rogue dinosaur delivery... right?
