This Month in Jurassic World Evolution 3 – November 2025

It has been a month since the release of Jurassic World Evolution 3 and we’ve been so delighted to see how players have been exploring the game!

November included some exciting news and updates, let’s jump into the details of everything that’s happened in November 2025.

In Case You Missed It!

Update 1.1

The first major update to the game brought various changes and improvements including;

• Added 'Operations Building Limits' Sandbox setting to allow players to have multiple of the same operation buildings.
• Adjusted navigation rules so that dinosaurs can travel beneath and around scenery items more freely.
• Added further keyboard shortcuts to in-game control hints when placing or moving scenery.
• Pylons can now be placed between Islands on maps made with Island Generator.
• And much more!

Kentrosaurus Returns

Update 1.1 also saw return of the Kentrosaurus, the first of the free returning Jurassic World Evolution 2 base game dinosaurs!

With its name translating to ‘sharp point lizard’, this herbivore stegosaurian family unit is an extra spiky, armoured addition to the dinosaur roster.

The remaining base game Jurassic World Evolution 2 species are currently ongoing development work, as we re-introduce these classic dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 3 as complete family units, with dimorphism and juveniles.

We will be introducing one base game species as complete family units from Jurassic World Evolution 2 every month starting from January 2026 - we won’t charge you for these species.

Waterfalls guide

One of the new features in Jurassic World Evolution 3 is waterfalls! These natural water features add peaceful beauty to your parks and can be used as naturalistic barriers for your dinosaur enclosures.
