This Month in Jurassic World Evolution 3 – December 2025

It’s that time of year again, and what a year it has been for Jurassic World Evolution 3!

From our announcement in June, all the way through to launch in October and getting the game in your hands, it’s been a packed year for the team here. As we promised, launch wasn’t the end, and we have been delighted to keep the momentum up and hit the end of the year on a high note with our first DLC release and a major free update for all players!

In Case You Missed It!

Jurassic World Evolution 3: Wetlands Released

The first DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 3 released on 9 December, introducing 3 new dinosaur family units to the game (Irritator, Austroraptor and Hypsilophodon) along with hundreds of new bayou and wetland inspired scenery pieces.

Update 1.2.1

Our 2nd major update since release, Update 1.2.1 brought a new Scenery & Foliage Brush with the Cyprus Swamp Brush, expansions to the Island Generator adding new Biomes and beach-side building, alongside a host of User Experience improvements, bug fixes and enhancements for performance.

Deinocheirus Returns

Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Deinocheirus family unit swimming

As a special festive treat and thank you to our wonderful community, we were thrilled to welcome the Deinocheirus to Jurassic World Evolution 3 as a fully-fledged family unit – for free!

A fan favourite from Jurassic World Evolution 2’s Feathered Species Pack, the Deinocheirus and its duck-like appearance had been topping the list of requests for many players.

Complete with dimorphism, semi-aquatic behaviour, juveniles, breeding and all the other improvements you can expect from Jurassic World Evolution 3’s animals, the Deinocheirus makes for a striking addition to any park.
