This Month in Jurassic World Evolution 3 - August 2026
Welcome Park Managers,
This month gave us a franchise first with the Deinosuchus, our first Psuedosuchian, which arrived in Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast! We also saw the return of the Elasmosaurus and the release of Update 1.4.

Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast Launched
Launching on 11 August, Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast introduced five full family units, including the Deinosuchus, Postosuchus, Desmatosuchus, Styxosaurus and Shonisaurus. Watch new bespoke interactions and behaviours from the safety of dry land (or so you think!), like the Deinosuchus' death roll and the first ever bioluminescent skins for the Styxosaurus juvenile. Build up your parks with weathered coastal-inspired scenery pieces and quickly establish waterfront areas with a selection of new pre-fabricated blueprints.
We gave you a look at all five of the species from Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodila Coast and the fantastic waterside scenery in this gameplay showcase.
Behind the Scenes at Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast
With many firsts in this pack, read the behind the scenes article with our Development team and learn about the in-depth work they did on the Deinosuchus, a distant cousin to the modern alligator. We also dove into how we created whole family units for the Shonisaurus and Styxosaurus, and designed the first bioluminescent skins for a juvenile species.
Free Update 1.4 & the Elasmosaurus Returned
Update 1.4 brought new Clear Glass scenery pieces, a tropical, square sandbox map, chaos presets for Sandbox Mode, as well as a host of bug fixes and stability improvements.

The Elasmosaurus made a return in free update 1.4, now with a full family unit including a juvenile.

Continuing with the release of our returning Jurassic World Evolution 2 base game dinosaurs, we'll be reintroducing you to a familiar face in September... although this species has had a little bit of a facelift.
