This Month in Jurassic World Evolution 3 - June 2025
June has been a packed month for the team at Frontier as we finally revealed Jurassic World Evolution 3! With not one, but two trailers, we gave you all your very first look at what to expect when the game releases 21 October 2025.
We've been overjoyed by the reception to the announce so far, with so many of you sharing your thoughts on social media and choosing to pre-order or wishlist the game.
We've got plenty more to reveal over the coming months but first let's take a look at some of the highlights from June 2025!
In Case You Missed It!
The announce trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 3 debuted on 6 June, revealing juvenile dinosaurs, family units and dimorphism in adults.
Not content to simply drop our announce trailer, we also followed up just a few days later with the gameplay trailer at IGN's Summer of Gaming.
Across both trailers we've packed in lots of details and first looks at what's coming in Jurassic World Evolution 3, which some of the more eagle-eyed park managers have already been able to spot - don't worry, we still have plenty more up our sleeves!
On top of more fantastic examples of our new dinosaur family units (check out that juvenile Carnotaurus!), a few of the new features shown included:
- The debut of modular building to the Jurassic World Evolution franchise, giving you the freedom to choose between making use of a wide variety of pre-built blueprints or building your own facilities from a simple initial base.
- New terrain modification tools for quickly creating lush natural enclosures and verticality in your parks, including ramps, canyons and dynamic waterfalls.
- A host of graphical improvements, with impressive new lighting and subsurface scattering delivering the best-looking Jurassic World Evolution to date!
- The Brachiosaurus and Spinosaurus enjoying a dip in deep water as it showed off some new semi-aquatic dinosaur behaviour.
- Scalable scenery pieces which can be resized for perfect placement in your parks.
- A new drivable maintenance and repair ATV in action, joining the garage of controllable vehicles including helicopters and jeeps.
- Guests getting up close and personal with dinosaurs as they enjoy one of the new attractions coming to parks at launch.
- A sinister voice warning our Dinosaur Integration Network to put a stop to their activities - we're sure everything will still be fine for DIN, right?
Reactions from the Jurassic World
Before unveiling Jurassic World Evolution 3, we invited press and fans from around the world to join us for a behind closed doors preview of the game. Since our announcement, we've been delighted to see these reactions shared online.
"Watching a baby triceratops play in the grass is adorable, I don't care who you are! And the breeding mechanics open up a lot of long-term possibilities for making not just the parks I want, but the kinds of dinosaurs I want, too." IGN
"Frontier did an incredible job implementing community feedback and coming up with brilliant new features on their own!" Evolution Square
"Developer Frontier has seemingly listened to fan feedback and included some highly sought-after features, such as breeding and the ability to use deep water in park enclosures, as well as heavily overhauling the terrain and building customization options." GameRant
"I think it's fair to say that, overall, this is a positive bunch of news!" BestInSlot
"I've only seen a small snippet of what's to come, but things are looking promising. The creative tools are improved, the campaign promises to be diverse and expansive, and of course, we have baby dinos." TheGamer
"I'm so glad they have added babies into the game, it makes your parks feel much more alive" Swrve
"Even though I'm something of a newcomer myself, there's so much that speaks to me, from the chance to bring baby dinosaurs to life, to the impressive amount of customization, and the many locations we'll get to play around in. I'm already looking forward to seeing what else it will let us do in the Jurassic universe this year." GamesRadar+
"This seems like it's going to be very robust and absolutely a step up from JWE1 and JWE2" Leaf
"You never expect a third installment to carry much more than safe updates, but it's clear that developer Frontier isn't happy to rest on their laurels. Jurassic World Evolution 3 is shaping up beautifully to create entirely new ways to raise our super-sized creatures, and then create compelling and beautiful parks to display them for our guests ethically."
