Park Managers’ Toolbox – Attraction Build Ideas

Park Managers’ Toolbox – Attraction Build Ideas

Welcome Park Managers,

Waterfalls, deep & shallow water and lagoons are fantastic ways to add interest to the landscape of your parks in Jurassic World Evolution 3. Make the most of the water tools, dynamic folliage and scenery pieces to bring your parks to life with these three smaller build ideas.

Building On the Edge

Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Deep water

Raise your park above the elements! Edit or customise your facilites or attractions and place them over water or even rocky cliffs.

Whether you’re hiding your buildings within cliff faces and caves, or engineering suspended facilities, the scaling and modular building tools allow you to construct unique looking creations.

Tips

  • Edit your facilites so they extend over   bodies of water and cliff faces.
  • Use scenery building pieces such as pillars and walls to create the illusion of lifted architecture.
  • With attractions like the Viewing Platform on the edge of high cliffs or along bodies of water, try placing large rocks and foliage to camouflage it into the terrain of your park.

Did You Know?

Use the Environment brushes to quickly add dimension and change the appearance of your parks with dynamic foliage that changes depending on the biome you’re in!

To tweak and personalise the lush areas of your builds, use the Foliage  and Rock scenery items, individually placing them for detailed customisation.

Wetlands Tours

Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Wetlands Pack - Scenery blueprint cruise

Not every park can look shiny and new. Some are a little more... rustic? Transform your attractions with the scenery pieces from the Wetlands Pack.

Customise the Cretacious Cruise attraction with scenery items to create your own jetties and shacks straight from the Wetlands.

Tips

  • Make use of the new Wetlands scenery items, including fairy lights, docks and all kinds of swampy scenery extras.
  • Delight your guests with this themed Cretaceous Cruise and fill it with (hopefully) peaceful semi-aquatic species, such as the Irritator!
  • Use the Wetlands Brush from the latest free Update to quickly build out Tropical and Temperate biomes.

Blending Lagoons in

Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Mosasaurus

Lagoons are an integral enclosure to build for aspiring Park Managers, especially if you want to house any marine species in your DIN facility.

Make these bodies of water disappear into the background of your parks by strategically decorating them with scenery!

Tips

  • While lagoon segments are round, you can place them in more organic shapes before customising.
  • Larger scenery pieces like rocks are excellent for scaling up and camouflaging the sheer walls of your lagoons.
  • Don’t forget to make use of the painting tools and foliage! Adding these to the edges of your lagoon enclosures adds the final flourish you need for a natural looking enclosure.

You Might Not Know

When building waterfalls you need to make sure your terrain settings have a Slope setting of at least half to create a steep enough cliff for the water to flow and drop off, creating the drama you want in your parks!
