Jurassic World Evolution 3: Wetlands Pack and Update 1.2 - Available Now!
It's time to unearth the Wetlands Pack in Jurassic World Evolution 3, available now on all platforms.
Featuring three stunning new dinosaurs, each with their own striking family unit and a selection of swampy scenery items for you to decorate your enclosures.
Three New Dinosaur Family Units
Irritator
A fierce spinosaurid, the Irritator is an impressive semi-aquatic carnivore bound to wow your guests in their new waterside enclosures.
Austroraptor
Adept at catching fish in their fish feeders and seeking out prey on land, Austroraptor is a larger, versatile relative of the Velociraptor.
Hypsilophodon
Emerging in herds, the Hypsilophodon favours warm, swampy environments with plenty of vegetation for them to eat!
Immersive Scenery
Using the hundreds of new scenery pieces, create lush open environments filled with greenery for the Hypsilophodon to roam or build dense, humid swamps with abandoned jetties for the Irritator to swim and catch fish.
Quickly design misty waterside enclosures with the thirteen new blueprints, including a boathouse, rusty shacks and wooden pontoons, inspired by wetland and bayou locations.
Take a look at the Frontier Workshop to browse blueprints for your parks made by our amazing community.
That's not all - the Wetlands Pack launches alongside a free major update! Take a look at what's included below.
Update 1.2
Deinocheirus Returns
A fan favourite, this large semi-aquatic ornithomimosaur returns in Update 1.2 as a special gift! Arriving at your enclosures as a full family unit, the Deinocheirus has huge forelimbs with sharp claws, perfect for foraging for food and defending juveniles.
With its toothless duck-like bill and feathery tail, this late Cretaceous giant will be right at home in your existing parks, and your new Wetland enclosures.
Wetlands Brush
This new environment brush for Temperate and Tropical biomes paints your enclosures with new Cypress Trees and introduces an atmospheric mist that seeps across the landscape.
Also included are a variety of Cypress Trees as scenery items for Park Managers who want to finesse the details of their parks.
Island Generator Additions
Alongside the Tropical biome, the Island Generator now has three more biomes to choose from when starting their island customisation, including;
- Desert
- Mediterranean
- Temperate
A new Beaches slider has also been added to the mode, allowing Park Managers to adjust the prominence of sandy beaches or cliff faces on generated islands. Islands can now feature more cliffs or more beaches depending on your preferences!
The updates to the Island Generator don't stop there - there's now a greater flexibility in building across your generated islands. Players are now able to place buildings, paths, and edit terrain up to the water's edge, as well as decorate the area with scenery beyond the island boundaries. We can't wait to see what islands you create next!
User Experience Changes
A collision heatmap showing where all sizes of dinosaur can roam, as well as where your guests and vehicles can move around your park.
New Blueprints menu allows you to see your own custom blueprints and the creations you've downloaded from the Workshop.
Path Copy feature gives you the ability to quickly and simply match pathing options throughout your park.
Plus, there's a whole host of bug fixes and improvements in Update 1.2 as well.
