Tips & Tricks

Take your dinosaur park to the next level

Jurassic World Evolution 3 puts you in charge as park manager, working with the Dinosaur Integration Network to build and run dinosaur parks, facilities and sanctuaries around the world.

We’ve put together some tips and tricks to help you hit the ground running when managing your own park.

Build with Blueprints

If you’re the kind of park manager who wants to get straight into the action, blueprints are a fantastic way to get your park up and running quickly.

Not only are there plenty of pre-built blueprints available for you to speedily create a working park, but the Frontier Workshop is perfect for finding new Community Creations to explore too. Create, save and upload your own creations for other park managers to use in their sites as well!

Customise Your Park

Modular building in Jurassic World Evolution 3

For park managers who want complete creative freedom, the new modular building tools allow you to create your dream dinosaur park from the ground up.

Experiment with custom buildings using the Custom Design feature, placing blank core modules and adding the details & requirements needed to keep things running smoothly.

Don’t worry about working on rough terrain! Core modules and Asphalt foundation pieces flatten the surface of the ground you place them on. Take a look at the Construction Guide for more information about building your parks.

Create Natural Enclosures

Environment brushes are not only a simple way to add depth to the appearance of your park, but they are also incredibly useful for creating naturalistic enclosures.

Use the Terrain tool to move mountains, forming natural boundaries to your dinosaur enclosures. Waterfalls are simple to create with the Water brush and are an ideal way to form interesting landscape throughout your park while also creating a boundary for your land-based dinosaurs.

Synthesise a Variety of Dinosaurs

Genome library in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Your park will benefit from having a good variety of dinosaurs for your guests to see. Send your scientists on expeditions to discover more DNA and build your Genome Library. To synthesise both male and female dinosaurs, you’ll need to have discovered enough of each species genome.

Some parks will have a minimum requirement for the number of species living there. If you don’t hit this number, it will have a negative effect on your Appeal rating. The more prehistoric animals you have, the better your Appeal score will be!

Delegate to Your Staff

Refueling building in Jurassic World Evolution 3

There’s a lot of tasks to juggle as park manager so make the most of your workforce for the day-to-day Operations. Build Paleo-medical, Maintenace and Response facilities to manage the operations of your park.

Remember to provide your staff with all the resources they need to keep things running smoothly. Teams can be assigned to automatically deal with dinosaur escapes, broken fences or sick animals – as long as they have enough fuel and resources!

Stay Secure

Keep your park guests safe and your dinosaurs secure. Escaped dinosaurs are not good for your park Appeal!

Placing security cameras so they are covering your enclosures is a great way to make sure calamities are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Some species can have traits which make them prone to higher levels of aggression and therefore more likely to attempt escape, so keep these in mind when planning your park.

Once a dinosaur is spotted by a security camera as a threat it will alert a Capture Team, who will proceed to tranquilize the escaped species. If the escape happened due to a broken fence, make sure you send in your Maintenance Team to repair the damage before transporting the dinosaur safely back to its enclosure.

Increasing Your Park Appeal

If you want your Park to be a financial success, the best way of making money quickly is to sell more tickets. The best way to sell more tickets and encourage guests to come to your park is by increasing your Park Appeal Rating.

Building attractions, having a variety of dinosaurs that are visible to guests and investing in your parks future with juveniles are all great ways to boost your park’s Appeal.
