Guests Guide

To run a successful park, you’ll need an audience

A bustling site is the key to a profitable park, but it’s important to understand your guests if you want to attract them to visit.

Guest Demographics

Jurassic World Evolution 3 - DIN - Entertainment Sector

Guests at the site are split into four different interest groups or Guest Demographics:

  • General
  • Adventure
  • Nature
  • Luxury

Each group has a unique set of interests and desires that will drive them to different areas of the park depending on their preferences.

Did You Know?

You can learn more about the Demographics of your park by using Management Views, accessing the Control Room or reviewing your Site Economy and Finances.

The Demographic Split of your park is determined by the composition of the site. You can control the split of groups at specific locations through a mix of species choice, enclosure design, and Attraction placement.

Need to attract more Adventure guests? Build Attractions and Enclosures that satisfy the Adventure interest, and you’ll find more of these guests visit your park.

How To Increase Potential Guests

Increasing your Potential Guests will increase the number of Guests you can expect to visit your park when operating at full efficiency.

  1. Resolve any Guest Approval or Guest Comfort issues as these will negatively impact your Potential Guests count.
  2. Increase your Park Appeal by increasing dinosaur visibility, species variety and by building entertainment attractions. The higher your Park Appeal, the more Guests you can expect to visit your park.

Guest Comfort

Guest comfort in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Guest Comfort is an ongoing assessment of how well the needs of your guests are being met across your site. There are four component parts of Guest Comfort:

  • Transport Coverage
  • Restroom Coverage
  • Shelter Coverage
  • Accommodation

To maximise Guest Comfort, ensure each guest need is addressed with adequate transport, restrooms, shelters, and hotel coverage.

Reduced Guest Comfort will counter Park Appeal and reduce the Potential Guest count for your park.

How To Increase Guest Comfort

Improving Guest Comfort in your park will help increase your total Potential Guests and maximise the number of guests visiting your park.

  1. Identify problem areas in your Guest Comfort by opening the Site Economy menu.
  2. Build additional Transport, Restrooms, Shelters or Accommodation as required to raise the ratings that contribute to Guest Comfort. Use Management Views to find the best places for these.
  3. Review your Guest Comfort and repeat the process if further improvements are required.

Accommodation Rating

As guest count increases, you will need to place more Hotels to maintain a good Accommodation rating.

Hotels are also a type of Viewing Attraction, allowing guests to see dinosaurs from their rooms and balconies. Although Hotels can be placed anywhere within the park, consider placing them near enclosures to improve dinosaur Visibility at the same time as improving the Accommodation rating.

Shelter Coverage

Guests taking shelter in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Emergency Shelters must be placed in populated areas of the site in order to improve coverage and maximise this rating.

Emergency Shelters can be opened individually when dinosaurs are a threat to guests nearby, or site-wide during dangerous storms, to minimise the effect on the Safety Rating. Remember to close Emergency Shelters afterwards as well, otherwise the Safety Rating will reduce.

Restroom Coverage

Restrooms must be placed in populated areas of the park to meet your guest's demands and maximise this rating.

The Restroom Coverage View Mode can be used to identify gaps in restroom coverage across the park.

Transport Rating

Place transport options such as the Monorail or Tour Attractions around the park to decrease walking distance between them, the Arrival Point, and other Attractions.

Monorails and other Tour Attractions can have multiple stations along their routes. This will provide Transport Coverage to each local area. Tours can also provide dinosaur Visibility along their routes, so make sure to take advantage of this when planning transport coverage.

Monorails

Monorails improve transport rating by reducing the distance guests have to walk from the Arrival Point to destinations.

Monorails consist of stations, connected by tracks, and are a best placed in hub areas of your park.

How To Build a Monorail

Building a Monorail is a great way to improve the Transport Rating of your park.

  1. Open the Guests menu.
  2. Select the Monorail Station. You may need to research this before it is available.
  3. Choose the appearance of the Monorail Station or create a Custom Design.
  4. Place the Monorail Station in your park.
  5. Once the first Monorail Station has been placed, you can place Monorail Tracks and connect them. You can toggle between Monorail Tracks and additional Monorail Stations within the Monorails menu.
    1. Monorails also provide Visibility for dinosaurs that can be seen from the Station or Tracks, so consider building tracks through dinosaur enclosures (particularly large dinosaurs).
  6. Monorails only require two stations to function; however, additional Stations and Tracks can be added by selecting and editing the Monorail.
  7. Once placed, connect any Monorail Stations to your path network and provide them with Power.

Hyper Loop

The Hyper Loop is an underground network that can be used to travel across the park instead of using paths.

Hyper Loops are a fantastic option for quickly connecting areas of your park that would otherwise take a long time to travel between.

How To Build a Hyper Loop

Hyper Loops help to improve Transport Rating, without requiring above ground construction.

  1. Open the Guests menu.
  2. Select the Hyper Loop Station. You may need to research this before it is available.
  3. Choose the appearance of the Hyper Loop Station or create a Custom Design.
  4. Place the Hyper Loop Station in your park.
  5. Once the first Hyper Loop Station has been placed, you can place Hyper Loop nodes to create a network. You can toggle between Hyper Loop nodes and additional Hyper Loop Stations within the Hyper Loop menu.
  6. Hyper Loops only require two stations to function; however, additional Stations and additional Hyper Loop nodes can be added by selecting and editing the Hyper Loop.
  7. Once placed, connect any Hyper Loop Stations to your path network and provide them with Power.

Guest Approval

Guest Approval in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Guest Approval is an ongoing assessment of how guests perceive the site. There are four component parts of Guest Approval:

  • Dinosaur Welfare
  • Incident Prevention
  • Safety Rating
  • Publicity Rating

Avoid, mitigate, or quickly recover from Sabotage, escapes, weather disasters and Disease outbreaks to minimise their impact on Guest Approval.

Reduced Guest Approval will counter Park Appeal and reduce Potential Guest count, limiting your park’s profitability and the volume of guests that visit.

How To Increase Guest Approval

Improving Guest Approval in your park will help increase your total Potential Guests and maximise the number of guests visiting your park.

  1. Identify problem areas in your Guest Approval by opening the Site Economy menu.
  2. Improve your Dinosaur Welfare by scanning and caring for your animals, prevent dinosaur escapes and quickly use Capture Teams and Shelters to improve Incident Prevention, ensure good Shelter Coverage to improve the Safety Rating and avoid rapid, repeat decisions that damage your Publicity Rating.
    1. Incident Prevention and Publicity Ratings will improve gradually over time, so if something has recently affected these Ratings give them some time to recover.
  3. Review your Guest Approval and repeat the process if further improvements are required.

Dinosaur Welfare

Dinosaur Welfare is an ongoing assessment of how well-cared-for your animals are. Dinosaurs that are unhealthy, diseased, hungry, thirsty, injured, or stressed will lower this rating. Learn more about ailments and diseases in the Dinosaurs Guide.

Unscanned dinosaurs also lower the rating, as without a Status Check the dinosaur's welfare cannot be known.

Incident Prevention

A rampaging dinosaur in Jurassic World Evolution 3

Incident Prevention is an ongoing assessment of how well the site has avoided injury or death to guests. To minimise negative effects on this rating, mitigate the chance of dinosaur escape, and use Shelters and Capture Teams to quickly control the situation if they do.

Safety Rating

Safety Rating is an ongoing assessment of how well the site utilises Shelters during dinosaur escapes and dangerous storms to protect and keep guests safe. Ensure shelters are within the vicinity of escaped dinosaurs, and throughout the site during dangerous weather, to minimise the effect to this rating. Remember to close the Shelters when they're no longer needed!

Publicity Rating

Publicity Rating is an ongoing assessment of the how positively the site is perceived. Sometimes, you will need to make decisions that can negatively affect the Publicity Rating of the site which will have an impact on your finances, but your Publicity Rating will always recover over time.
