Staff memo on security procedures
As a member of the DIN team, it is of utmost importance that you are aware of and follow ALL security precautions. Staff are required to ensure the following:
- Promptly report any suspicious activity or malicious damage of DIN property, including but not limited to intentional sabotage of DIN facilities.
- Be aware of and follow cybersecurity procedures to avoid unauthorised access to DIN systems and networks.
- Ensure that breaks are taken regularly. While your hard work is appreciated, it’s important that staff don’t push themselves too much or we risk a disgruntled and unhappy workforce.
- Carefully check that all enclosures are locked and secured before leaving to ensure that no animals have escaped and that there is no risk of escape. Any faults or concerns should be raised immediately with the relevant support teams.
- All staff must remember that dinosaurs are living, thinking animals with the capability to solve a number of tasks. Staff should never underestimate their ability to escape and must keep in mind that they are wild animals that can attack without warning.
